Description
Presenting the Chocolate Motherload Cake! This was my brother's birthday cake.
From the bottom up, the layers are:
- chocolate cake
- fudge buttercream frosting
- chocolate chip brownie
- semisweet chocolate ganache
- chocolate cake
- fudge buttercream frosting
- chocolate chip brownie
- semisweet chocolate ganache
- Oreo cookie crust
- chocolate cheesecake
- milk chocolate ganache
The sides were frosted in more fudge buttercream.
This cake was over 10 inches in diameter, was so tall that it had less than 1/8-inch between its top and the top of my mom's biggest cake carrier, and weighed about 15 lb. total.
It was EPIC.
